This privacy policy applies to the SnapLedger mobile app (the “Application”) operated by Phillip Rosenheinrich (the “Service Provider”). SnapLedger is designed to be privacy-first: receipt photos and extracted data stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. The Application stores receipt images, merchant names, amounts, dates, categories, and related settings locally on your device (for example in an on-device database and app storage). The Service Provider does not operate user accounts or a cloud server that receives your receipt content. You can delete individual receipts in the app or remove all data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the Application. The Service Provider does not run a backend that processes, syncs, or stores your receipts. Core features (scan, review, save, list, local backup) work without sending receipt images to the Service Provider. Network access may be used only for optional features such as advertising consent (Google UMP), ad delivery, or store billing — not for uploading receipt content for OCR or storage. When you scan a receipt, text recognition runs on your device using Google ML Kit. Receipt images are not sent to the Service Provider or to a cloud OCR API for this purpose. You review and confirm all fields before saving. The free tier may show banner and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data according to your consent choices (Google UMP; on iOS, App Tracking Transparency where applicable). Purchasing SnapLedger Premium (one-time, non-consumable) removes ads in the Application. See Google’s partner policy: Google advertising technologies. Premium is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment and purchase history are handled by Apple or Google, not directly by the Service Provider. The Service Provider does not use third-party subscription SDKs (such as RevenueCat) for billing. You may create a local backup ZIP (database and receipt images) and share it via your device’s share sheet (email, cloud drive, etc.). The Service Provider does not receive that file unless you send it to us voluntarily (for example for support). Because receipt data is stored on your device, you control access, correction, and deletion directly in the app. For questions about data the Service Provider processes (for example support email), contact [email protected]. Depending on your region, you may have additional rights regarding data processed by ad or store providers. The Application is not directed at children under 16. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy by posting a new effective date on this page. Questions: [email protected]Privacy Policy
